The drafting and writing process of Predeceased Ascension began around 2013. In the beginning I would print out the entire document and edit by hand. Occasional drawings would accompany these edits, acting as flow charts. As time went on, this process became digital. The initial version was put up on Amazon. 2020-21 marked the "apocalypse" the pandemic. During this period I was going to school. I began to wonder how to better streamline and adjust the narrative. What I had out to my audience was from the highschool era and contained a lot of "filler" and strcuture issues. An example of this was the introduction of Tyrin (at the time Tyrant), who is the second protagonist, was very late into the story, appearing at the half-way point. An outlining approach acted as a spine and eased an overall rewrite of the manuscript. It went from 150,000 words down to 65,000.
